'Black Sheep' Turkoman 15mm DBA Army

Managed to (finally) finish this DBA army over the Christmas break - a 15mm 'Black Sheep' Turkoman army: DBA Book IV/77 dating from the late 14th Century.  The Black Sheep (Qara-Qoyunlu) were a confederation of Turkoman and Kurdish clans that ruled over Azerbaijan and Iraq.  The army is mostly armoured lance and bow -armed cavalry with some light horse and foot archers.  The figures are by Essex Miniatures, painted in acrylics and gloss varnished.

Carthaginian 10mm DBA Army

Have finally managed to finish painting a Carthaginian DBA army in 10mm scale.  The figures are by Pendraken and were a Christmas present from Andy (Christmas 2018 that is!).  I scaled up the bases to put more figures on per base.

Early Imperial Roman DBA Army

Next up in the collection of DBA armies that I painted for my friends' birthdays is this Early Imperial Roman army for Orhan.  The figures are mostly by 'Forged in Battle' but there are also some Xyston and Essex in there too.  The photos below cover all the options for the army except for camels.  There is also a choice of regular legions or the Prateorian cohorts.
